#proofofgood

My name is Christopher James Cole.
I am 41 years old. Despite my life being much more intense and laced with more tragedy than most, I always thought I was “normal”. I now have reason to believe that I am not.
I don’t expect you to believe the things I say.
If they did not happen to me, I wouldn’t believe them.
But I am going to tell you anyway, because I believe it is my purpose.
Based on my recent experiences and learnings, I have total 100% faith in God. It transcends faith — it is a knowing, a feeling, and an experience.
My beliefs seem contradicting and go against everything society has taught you:
I love Christ.
I hate Church.

On the morning April 3rd, 2026, after doing much seeking into the Gnostic gospels of Jesus Christ, something in me changed.
I believe I received the Holy Spirit.
I believe there are many terms for this:
What I know for sure is that my perception changed, my intuition changed, and my entire identity changed. It was like I was reborn.
I felt amazing, like I was no longer attached to or burdened by the problems of the world. It felt like I was in heaven on earth.
Because I am not a jerk, and think it would be cool if other people could experience heaven, I began to share my experience with my community. That is when things became very strange.

The first people that I told were my parents.
My mom calls herself “Christian”, and my dad is an atheist.
They have been separated for over 30 years.
They seemed happy for me at first, but neither was very receptive to the things I learned.
Then I started posting on Facebook to my 1000 connections.
Many of them Catholics from south Louisiana.
They just thought I was crazy. Or at least acted like I as crazy.
Then I thought if anyone would want to hear about this, it would be people from the Christian church I had attended and tithed to for 3 years — Journey Community Church. Much to my surprise, this was the most negative reaction I have received when sharing my experience.

I went to a Thursday evening group session at the church, and when I had a change to speak I shared my testimony.
I talked about losing my only sibling in 2019, losing my son’s mother in 2020, and losing my fiance in 2021.
I explained that in 2021 I returned to church after not attending since I was a child, because I just could not do life on my own anymore.
And I began to say that I had discovered the Nag Hammadi library, and reading the Gospel of Thomas and other texts led to an indescribable spiritual awakening.
As soon as “Gospel of Thomas” came out of my mouth, I was rudely interrupted by Linda Noble, the pastor’s wife, who coldly said that it “does not align with the church’s values.”
I asked if I could say just a few more words, and she responded, “Out of respect for you as a human, you can say just a few more.” It was at that moment that I realized that there was a good chance this woman was not human.

I did not take being rejected by my church this way very well. It did not seem very “Christian” of them to treat me this way after attending for 3 years and giving them thousands of dollars, and I couldn’t let it slide without being addressed.
I wrote an email to 5 church staff member, including Linda, her husband Pastor Ed Noble, and three others, explaining what had happened. I did not get a response.
I wrote another email, and another email…. and did not get a response. After doing more thinking and studying, I realized the truth. These people are evil. And I began to call them out on it via email.
I never received a response from any church staff member, but I did receive an email from their lawyer, letting me know that they had filed for a restraining order against me, and I could no longer contact them. This was the first of several restraining orders I would receive over the next couple of months.
